Toward the northwest, right over the limit of Los Angeles County, lie the city of Long Beach and the adjoining San Pedro Bay. Toward the north lie the city of Los Alamitos and the unincorporated community of Rossmoor. Toward the east lie the city of Westminster and the area of West Garden Grove, a portion of the city of Garden Grove. A lion's share of the city's real estate is dedicated to the Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach army installation.
